Riverside Cemetery: A Historical Journey

Riverside Cemetery stands as a testament to Noblesville's rich history, with roots dating back to 1827. The original land was donated by William Conner, the renowned founder of Conner Prairie, to Hamilton County. In 1909, the County transferred ownership to the City of Noblesville, which gradually expanded the cemetery until it reached its current size in 1930. Currently managed by the Noblesville Board of Public Works and Safety, the cemetery remains active, though new plots are now sold only in the newer south section.
