HCAA's Birdie Gallery

The HCAA's current home is the historic First Missionary Baptist Church. Located at the corner of 5th and Cherry Streets (formerly Amo and Brock Streets), on the eastern edge of the Riverside Cemetery along the White River, the church has a profound historical significance.

Historical records indicate that the church was started in 1873 and completed in 1875 at a cost of approximately $650.
