The Hamilton County Artist Association (HCAA) and its sponsors, proudly present the annual Art Fair On The Square on the Historic Noblesville Square. The artists selected for the show are by invitation only from the HCAA and are based on artist applications submitted for jurying. If you wish to be considered for the 2022 show, please complete the application below. The application must be received by the HCAA Art Fair on the Square selection committee NO LATER THAN JUNE 10, 2022. All artists will be notified of acceptance by e-mail no later than July 1, 2022, and those invited to participate will be required to pay their booth fee within 10 days. We encourage you to register below.

Art Fair Rules

  • All work must be original and completed by the artist within the last two years. Signed and numbered prints of the artist are allowed. Only juried work may be shown in the show.

  • This is a FINE ARTS fair, in which every piece of artwork is unique and made by the artists' hands. We accept the following mediums: acrylic, ceramics, glass, jewelry, metalwork, oil, pastel/pencil/charcoal, pen/ink, photography, stonework, tempera, textile/fiber, watercolor, and woodworking.  If you believe that your work is appropriate for the fair but does not fit within one of these categories, we also offer a mixed media & miscellaneous category.  If you have any questions regarding whether your work would be appropriate for the fair, please contact the Art Fair Chairperson at info@hcaa-in.org.

  • Collaborating artists’ work is permitted if all artists’ names appear on the application. All work that is in the booth must be solely of that collaboration. If you are interested in applying as a group, please fill out our group application by clicking this link: GROUP APPLICATION

  • Photographic work must be self-printed from the artists original negatives or digitally mastered by the artist prior to printing.

  • The artist must arrive a least one hour before the show start time and remain until tear-down time. Set up begins at 7:30am.

  • A non-refundable application fee of $25, payable to the HCAA, is due with the application. This fee is waived for current HCAA Juried Artists. If the artist is selected, a $100 booth fee will be required to secure their booth space, due by July 10, 2022.  All decisions of the HCAA Selection Committee are final.

Artist Booth & Display Requirements

  • Artist’s displays will be located only on designated spaces on the Historic Hamilton County Courthouse Square.

  • The Art Fair can accommodate up to 65 booths.

  • Artists must provide their own display measuring no larger that 10’ X 10’, the size of the space provided per show space. Weights are required to tie down any display and NO stakes are allowed. The artist will need to provide their own tables and chairs and should prepare themselves for changing weather conditions. Show goes on RAIN OR SHINE. NO REFUNDS.

  • There are a VERY LIMITED number of electric hookups available on a first come first serve basis. Participants must supply their own weather rated cords that can reach 50 feet and any other electric devices or lights as needed. Because of the limited electrical, there is no guarantee that there will be a hookup available.

  • The decision of the Fair Committee on placement of artists in show spaces is FINAL.
