HCAA's Art Fair on the Square

Artist Vendor Application

The Hamilton County Artist Association (HCAA) and its sponsors proudly present the annual Art Fair On The Square on the Historic Noblesville Square on May 9th. The artists are selected by members of the HCAA based on the artists' applications submitted for jurying. If you wish to be considered for the 2026 show, please complete the application below. The application must be received by the HCAA Art Fair on the Square selection committee NO LATER THAN April 3rd, 2026, at 11:59 pm. All artists will be notified of acceptance by e-mail no later than April 10th and those invited to participate will then be required to pay their booth fee within 10 days. We encourage you to read the rules and register below.

The HCAA is partnering with the Peony Festival again this year. While you do not have to participate, we will have a floral-themed booth contest, juried by the Peony Festival organization. The winner gets $100 prize!

Art Fair Rules

  • All work must be original and completed by the artist within the last two years. Signed and numbered prints of the artist are allowed. Only work representing what was juried in may be shown in the show. Example: If you submit the application and images as a jeweler, you cannot also hang paintings.

  • This is a FINE ARTS fair, in which every piece of artwork is unique and made by the artists' hands. We accept the following mediums: acrylic, ceramics, glass, jewelry, metalwork, oil, pastel/pencil/charcoal, pen/ink, photography, stonework, tempera, textile/fiber, watercolor, and woodworking.  If you believe that your work is appropriate for the fair but does not fit within one of these categories, we also offer a mixed media & miscellaneous category.  If you have any questions regarding whether your work would be appropriate for the fair, please contact the Art Fair Chairperson at info@hcaa-in.org.

  • Collaborating artists’ and small groups (2-3)artists may apply. f you are interested in applying as a group, please fill out our group application found on the previous page.

  • Photographic work must be self-printed from the artist's original negatives or digitally mastered by the artist before printing.

  • The artist must arrive a least one hour before the show's start time and remain until tear-down time. Set up begins at 8:00am.

  • A non-refundable application fee of $25, payable to the HCAA, is due with the application. This fee is waived for current HCAA Juried & Emeritus Artist Members. If the artist is selected, a $100 booth fee will be required to secure their booth space, due by April 20th.  All decisions of the HCAA Selection Committee are final.

Artist Booth & Display Requirements

By applying, artist vendors agree to the following:

  • Vendors must carry their own general liability insurance. HCAA is not responsible for any injuries, accidents, or property damage caused by a vendor’s booth, equipment, or activities.

  • The Art Fair can accommodate up to 65 booths. Artist’s displays will be located only on designated spaces on the Historic Hamilton County Courthouse Square.

  • Artists must provide their own display measuring no larger than 10’ X 10’, the size of the space provided per show space. Weights are required to tie down any display and NO stakes are allowed. The artist will need to provide their own tables and chairs and should prepare themselves for changing weather conditions. The show goes on RAIN OR SHINENO REFUNDS.

  • A VERY LIMITED number of electric hookups are available on a first-come, first serve basis. Participants must supply their own weather-rated cords that can reach 50 feet and any other electric devices or lights as needed. Because of the limited electrical power, there is no guarantee that a hookup will be available.

  • The decision of the Fair Committee on the placement of artists in show spaces is FINAL.

  • All booths must be open during art fair hours. Any artist that leaves early will not be allowed back the next year.
