Whether it’s a parent, grandparent, aunt, uncle, mentor, or family friend, this inclusive class invites pairs to paint side-by-side and create lasting memories together—just in time for Mother’s Day. Inspired by the luminous colors and expressive brushstrokes of the Impressionism movement and artists like Claude Monet and Berthe Morisot, participants will explore playful techniques for capturing vibrant, blooming florals on canvas. Each duo will receive two canvases and step-by-step instruction from local art educator and practicing artist Amanda Russo. Together, you’ll experiment with color, texture, and light while creating your own unique floral masterpieces. Fun snacks will be provided, and no prior painting experience is needed. Artist Bio: Amanda Russo is a local art educator and practicing artist who has been sharing her love of creativity with students since 2006. With Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Art Education, she works across a variety of media and is especially inspired by the expressive color and light of Impressionism, bringing warmth, encouragement, and joyful exploration to every class she teaches.
