Heather Ray Boelke
Heather Ray Boelke is an artist and art educator with more than a decade of experience working with Central Indiana youth. She holds a bachelor's degree in Visual Art Teaching with a master's in Special Education. Her breadth of experience includes Title I public schools, private school and afterschool programs, with students ranging from toddlers to adults. She has a passion for making art accessible to all, while bringing joy to creative experiences. She produces her own art in watercolor, collage and mixed media, and recently became a published illustrator.
About the Class
Tuesdays, July 16-August 13th, 9am-11am. Young artists will engage in messy art-making and sensory experiences during this 5-week program, outside of your home! Participants will study weekly themes while growing attention and fine motor skills through creation and storytelling. Weekly themes are as follows: Deep Blue Sea, In My Garden, Creative Critters, World of Color, On the Farm. Cost includes an art shirt to protect clothing and keep at the conclusion of camp. This program is recommended for ages 2 to 5. A parent or guardian is expected to remain present and engage with their child during studio time.
