Heather Ray Boelke

Heather Ray Boelke is an artist and art educator with more than a decade of experience working with Central Indiana youth. She holds a bachelor's degree in Visual Art Teaching with a master's in Special Education. Her breadth of experience includes Title I public schools, private school and afterschool programs, with students ranging from toddlers to adults. She has a passion for making art accessible to all, while bringing joy to creative experiences. She produces her own art in watercolor, collage and mixed media, and recently became a published illustrator.

About the Class

Monday-Thursday, July 8-11th, 9am-11am. Young artists will explore nature through observation and imagination in this week-long art camp! Participants will study plants, animals, and other subjects from nature to create works of art. Artists will create with a variety of 2-dimensional mediums: drawing, painting, collage, and mixed media. Cost includes an art shirt to protect clothing and keep at the conclusion of camp. This camp is recommended for ages 5 to 8.
