Stop Buying So Many Colors and Mix!
with Randall Scott Harden - November 14 & 15, 2025 at 10:00 am
Description
Take your painting to the next level by mastering the art of color mixing! In this two-day workshop, you’ll discover how to create luminous, dynamic paintings without relying on dozens of tubes of paint. Day 1: Work with a limited palette to understand the power of restraint and the endless variations you can achieve by mixing just a few colors. Day 2: Expand into a broader palette, applying your mixing skills to create one finished painting with greater depth and harmony. Each day, the instructor will provide photo references and guide you through one painting per day. Randall will demonstrate in oils, but acrylic painters are welcome and encouraged to join. After the demo, enjoy plenty of one-on-one instruction to help you refine your technique and build confidence in your color mixing. Learn to mix like a pro and stop wasting money on colors you can easily create yourself!
