Wood Carving 101: (Kuksa) Mug

Description
The course will include the basic starter set of knives for students to keep with some extra wood to take home. During this class I plan to start teaching the basics of knife handling, shaping, and carving with students starting by turning a square block of wood into a ball. Once basics are established we will progress into Kuksa carving. The students will be provided knife sets and spare wood to take home with them at the completion of the class. All materials provided. Date: Saturday, September 20 Time: 9:00 am - 1:00 pm Age Requirements: 16+ with beginner to intermediate experience

Cancellation within seven or more days' notice prior to the start date of the 1st class is 95% refunded (represents 5% transaction fee). Cancellation with two to six days' notice is 45% refunded (includes 5% transaction fee). Cancellation with less than 24 hours notice is 0% refunded but registration is transferrable.
