Simona was born in Romania and came here in US in 2003. From a very early age she was attracted to the art of drawing  and tried oil painting under her father supervision. After ten years of professional photography  she decided to go back to her first love, oil painting and the last five years she dedicated her self in perfecting her skills for figure painting, portraits and flowers. Her artwork is influenced by her workshop teachers, Pamela Newell, John Michael Carter, Stephanie Spay, Max Ginsburg and Daniel Gerhartz. 

She is a member  of Oil painters of America and Portrait Society of America and local  Hamilton County Artists Association and Noblesville Creates.
