About

Linda is a colored pencil artist who enjoys creating realistic drawings often thought to be photographs.  Turning to art later in life as a way of cultivating mindfulness, she found a passion for capturing the spirit and individuality of animals through detailed, lifelike drawings.  Often blending colored pencil with watercolor or pastels, her work is known for its rich texture and subtle layering.

Linda was featured as the Artist of the Month at the Carmel Library Art Wall (March 2025), is a member of the Colored Pencil Society of America (CPSA), and the CPSA Cincinnati chapter (CPSA DC119) where she recently won an Up-and-Coming Artist Award for her drawing, “Thunder on the Plains”.  She has an art piece published in Ann Kullberg’s CP Hidden Treasures Volume 9; an accomplishment is she very proud of!  In addition to having juried into the HCAA Midwest Annual exhibits two years in a row (2024,2025), Linda has had artwork on display at the Fairfield Community Art Center in Fairfield, OH as well as at the Dillsboro Arts Friendship Gallery.

Linda considers herself a lifelong learner who will often be found reading, taking an art class, listening to music, travelling, taking tons of photographs or going on nature walks.
