Instructor
Randall Scott Harden
As an award-winning artist, Randall Scott Harden dedicates his being to creating art - it is his lifestyle. He sees the world through an artist's eyes - as patterns of color, shapes, and light. His strength lies in his ability to effortlessly create a timeless style with the essence of romance. Whether having a glass of wine in Paris or hiking in Tuscany, he is continually looking for that perfect balance of subject, atmosphere, and hue...those things, combined with years of experience, allow his brush to flow freely in an expression of the moment.
About the Class
By the end of this class, artists will learn to paint more loosely. New techniques, secrets, and tips on how to loosen up will be shared. In this class it will be important to use larger brushes and palette knives. Artists can use either oil or acrylic paint. The class will begin with a half-hour demonstration and talk, and then the class will paint until lunch at 12:30. Lunch will be followed by another demonstration and painting until 4. Breaks can be taken as needed. We will follow the same schedule for both days.
