Jenny is an Indiana based artist living just north of Indianapolis with her husband and two children. She attended Anderson University where she spent many late nights studying Fine Arts and learned the foundations and fundamentals of being an artist.

Her journey then took her into the field of photography in 2007 where she began her own business, Jenny Spires Photography. When COVID hit in early 2020, her husband lost his job and her business was on hold. It was at this time that she looked inward to what she could do to help her family and it became clear that this was the time that she could put a long awaited goal in motion and open up Jenny Spires Art. Creativity runs deep into her soul and is intertwined in her growth as a person and she can’t wait to share some of that passion with you.
My painting is the song and dance of light and dark, warm and cool as it is translated into a visual poetry of how I see and experience the world around me. I use acrylic and oil to loosely layer color to interpret florals, landscape and still life in a way that will evoke a feeling of joy and peace to each viewer.
