From an eclectic approach Antonio Menendez (AVMA) creates landscapes and representations that exalt the diverse contours of nature, and its’ colors. His work represents the sublime of colorful things without over indulgencem reconciling the inspirational interpretation with the source of its emanation. He received formal education in drawing and painting at an early age in Spain and France. But only later in life did he return to painting. Experimenting with different styles, including expressionism, cubism, and impressionism. Finally, he developed a more eclectic approach, including abstract painting and representing contemporary social thought, such as post-structuralism and postmodernism. Since 2005 his work has been shown in individual and collective exhibits in Central Indiana.
