Take the Steps to Become an HCAA Juried Artist Member
STEP 1: Agree to membership responsibilities
Reside in Hamilton County, Indiana
Pay membership Dues ($40 annually)
Attend a minimum of five monthly membership meetings annually
Serve on at least one committee per year
Participate in the Gathering event and/or the Fall Show
Host the Birdie Gallery sales desk when exhibiting your art
STEP 2: Join HCAA
Join HCAA as a “Supporting Member” until juried into
“Artist Membership” status. Artist’s submitted work is juried
by the artist members in February of each year.
Mail or drop off completed application to the art center
before January 8.

STEP 4: Submit Three Works of Art
Artwork must be original and appropriate in nature
Application and artwork must be submitted by January 8th. to
be juried in February
Applicants are promptly notified in February
Juried Artist Membership Benefits
Display and sell your artwork in the Birdie Gallery and related venues
Vote on matters pertaining to the operation and events of the Association
Receive a 10% discount on all Birdie Gallery Gift Shop purchases and HCAA classes
Join other artists at exciting off-site events
Attend monthly meetings and educational programs
Be eligible to serve on the HCAA Board of Directors
Enjoy the fellowship of many accomplished artists in the community
